Three Easy Steps to Get a Commission Started
STEP ONE
Start now by filling out the form below. We will review your information and William will contact you IN-PERSON with a detailed price schedule. We will collaborate together to determine the details of your project so you can determine if the project fits your needs. Then the artist will do a sketch...
STEP TWO
William will then do a compositional sketch at the actual size based on your information, William will send you a copy sketch to review and comment on. William will collaborate with you and make any adjustments. There is a $150 non-refundable upfront charge for this sketch but this will be applied to the cost of the painting should you wish to proceed. This also reserves your spot on our calendar!
STEP THREE
When you OK the sketch, William will send you a contract to review and sign and ask for a 33%-50% downpayment to start your custom commission. When ready for delivery the remaining balance will be due. Once paid, William will arrange the delivery.

Ask Us about archival prints of your commissions to share with family or friends. When you purchase a commissioned work of art we will give you up to 30% off on prints and framing, including up to ten (10) prints and frames.
Commission paintings can take anywhere from a month to a year from start to completion, depending on the project’s scope and the schedule. $200 deposit to reserve your place on my calendar, this includes an actual size compositional pencil sketch for you to review. I do my best to adjust for any requests for changes. This $200 goes toward the total cost of the painting should you decide to move forward with the commission. If not you are only paying the $200 and not the full amount of the painting.
Commission paintings are priced individually. Typically, one-of-a-kind paintings range anywhere from $500 to $12,000+ depending on size, complexity, and framing. Sizes can range from two feet wide to six feet wide and larger. The average farm heritage paintings range in size from 13”x21”; 21”x34”; and 25”x40.”
